Meals are provided each day with local ingredients and an El Salvadoran touch. Our menu focuses around fresh fruit and produce, and fresh seafood. We do accommodate to vegetarian diets, and include several options for you to eat offsite so that you can enjoy some of the other wonderful flavors available in El Tunco. The retreat cost includes full meals and purified drinking water throughout the week. Alcoholic beverages are not included.


The retreat offers three accommodations options, to provide a price range suitable to any guest’s budget. The “Gold” option is at a 4-start resort that sits next door to our studio. Here you will enjoy full luxury in spacious villas with elegant bedrooms, common areas & kitchens. The pool and deck are beautiful and the service from the staff is first rate. The “Silver” option consists of two oceanfront apartments we have onsite at the Balancé retreat. Each apartment has 3 beds, a full kitchen with dining table, AC, wi-fi internet, TV with surround sound stereo & DVD, auxiliary input for iPad/iPhone/mp3, etc, elegant bathrooms, and a wonderful oceanfront deck. The “Bronze” option is a nearby surf lodge that sits right on the water, with clean basic rooms with AC and ocean view.

Adrian is the owner & founder of Balancé Yoga Center. Adrian has maintained a disciplined yoga practice for 12 years, first practicing Bikram Hot Yoga and later incorporating Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga to his studies. A former competetivie athlete, and a lifelong waterman, Adrian is aware of areas where fellow surfers and outdoor athletes may experience soreness, tension, or limited flexibility.

Adrian first came to El Tunco in 2003 on a rogue surf trip that led him to discover one of his favorite places in the world. He’s thrilled to be able to share this passion for the water and yoga with practitioners and surfers from around the world.
