A wide variety of teaching styles are offered. BYC believes many students have a plethora of yoga studios available to them back home. By offering a variety of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and other Hatha Yoga classes, they give our students an opportunity to explore different styles that may influence their practice once they return home.
SUNI APTER teaches traditional Ashtanga yoga. You’ll go through the fundamental Primary Series and several modified sequences that she has carefully crafted. Suni has nearly a decade of experience working in health, fitness, and wellbeing, including certification from the Ashtanga Yoga Center. She has extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, sports therapy, and performance. Suni believes that one of the most vital elements to a healthy happy life is to take part in activities on a daily basis that bring you joy, which is what transplanted her from a London home to the sun drenched coast of El Salvador.
LIGIA JIMENEZ teaches Vinyasa flow with a grace, elegance, and energy that will both surprise and delight you. Ligia’s background in music and art design emerge during her yoga class. She’ll guide the class through postures at a rhythmic pace, ever watchful of each student.
ANA LARIOS is an artist, a teacher, and a loving mother. She recently moved to El Zonte beach where she lives a happy and healthy life with her family, now free of the stress, traffic, and fast-paced lifestyle in El Salvador’s capitol city of San Salvador. Ana has practiced yoga for 8 years. In her class you will purify your body, mind, and soul. You will connect with your breath and heartbeat, releasing toxins and absorbing positive energy throughout each posture. Ana’s yoga is a dynamic practice that combines force and energy with the rhythm of your breath. This class is not for the light of heart, be prepared to work hard, and the final relaxation at the conclusion of class will be your blissful reward.
